Am I ready?

I am looking forward to the arrival of God's Masterpiece, but on the other hand, I don't seem to be ready. When I visited my perintologist the other day, she told me that His Masterpiece can make its arrival anytime to this world. When I heard that I told her "No, please, I am not ready for it to be out!". Reason being, I want His Masterpiece to stay till full term in my womb because I believe the benefits of the brain development of the baby if it stays longer. Even though, after 37 weeks are safe to deliver babies, I refuse to get induced no matter what because I love my baby so much that I wanted His Masterpiece to get the best inside before its arrival. I believe in God's timing for His Masterpiece's arrival, and when it's ready, it would be ready. So why the need to induce which may cause stress to me and His Masterpiece. My perintologist agrees with me, and she was just providing an option if I really want the little one to be out soon. As long as I don't pass my due date, she is fine with delivering His Masterpiece at full term. There must be a reason why 40 weeks for babies, even though many considered 37 weeks as full term. I have read so many books about Fetal Brain and Cognitive Development during my course of studies, and learned that the brain of a baby delivered earlier than 40 weeks is smaller than those babies who are delivered at full term (40 weeks per se). The last few weeks before reaching full term are the most crucial stage for brain development for a baby, and it seems there are so much more happening to the brain development in the later stage than earlier. If you are one who are into brain development, you will know what I am talking about. I will definitely choose to deliver at full term for the sake and love of my child, unless the doctor has to intervene due to some medical reasons.

My littlehon was delivered at full term, and my mum told me that the second one will arrive definitely faster, and she warned me to stay close to home possible just in case. I believe in God's timing, so I am still praying hard for 40 weeks delivery, not before or beyond. For now, Rodney and I are enjoying our bonding with our littlehon, having great time with him until the arrival of His Masterpiece. For the past many months, we have been talking about His Masterpiece, and getting our littlehon to be involved, and also sharing with him the expectations when His Masterpiece arrives. We are glad that our littlehon is so looking forward for His Masterpiece's arrival, and keep asking when it will arrive, and it was funny sight that our littlehon got all his toys ready and wanted to show His Masterpiece upon its arrival. When I asked my littlehon, "Honey, are you ready for baby to come home?" My littlehon answered with beaming joy "YES! I am ready."
