Back in control

God is good all the time! I want to thank God for speedy recovery even though I still need to take some pain medication to control some of the pain. I remembered the last time, I was in pain for the whole month and I was a lot more weaker due to some complications, and even with my family's help, I couldn't really do much. I slowly recovered in about 10 days, and though I am still having some pain, it is still managable compared to last time. I told God that I need to get well and recover soon because I need to be strong enough to take care of His Masterpiece. Rodney has been a great "confinement nanny", and I am glad that I am into my 3rd week of confinement, and I can eat my favorite confinement food. I am glad that before my mum left for Singapore, she taught me how to cook the vinegar pig's trotters. I also love the Korean seaweed soup which is a "birthday soup", and it is also given to all post partum mothers as it's rich in calcium, iron and iodine.

I am just glad that I recover fast because I can't wait to take over the routine of my littlehon. As Rodney is busy cooking my confinement food, taking care of His Masterpiece, and also cooks for our littlehon, Rodney hardly has time to sit down and entertain our littlehon. Since I gave birth to His Masterpiece, Rodney will spend some time sitting down with our littlehon doing some quality work, but other then that, he couldn't help it but to put our littlehon infront of the laptop to view his favorite you tube programmes, or put him in front of the Wii to let him play games. I really dislike having children in front of the TV or computer, sitting there passively for hours, and not being to use their brains. By hook or by crook, I need to recover soon to take back in control all my littlehon's learning routine instead of him rotting in front of the TV and computer. I thank God that by Day 10, I was in charge! My littlehon was back into his painting of flags, writing, working on his maze and puzzle, doing Math, and while I am resting nursing His Masterpiece, I got him to work on the calendar. I felt something was accomplished at least, and I hope that by the end of one month, I can get back to my home teaching with my littlehon soon so that he can continue to learn new things that I have planned for him last year. This year will be a busy year for me once His Masterpiece turns one month, and I hope God will continue to give me strength, and more strength.
