Being a stay at home mum, I don't spend a lot on clothings, shoes, perfumes or make up. Think about it, I haven't been shopping for myself eversince I gave birth to my littlehon 3.5 years ago. When it comes to shopping, it's always shopping for my littlehon or His Masterpiece, and never for myself. I guess most parents are alike: skimp on ourselves, and spend freely on our children. Recently, I bought two pairs of wedges for myself and a pair of Tiny Toms for my littlehon from TOMS. I have to send back to exchange the Tiny TOMS because it's a little small for my littlehon.

It's the most comfortable shoes that I have ever had, and beside being comfortable, another reason for buying from TOMS is that they have this ONE for ONE programme when you buy one pair of shoes from them, they will give one pair of shoes to a child in need. Each pair of shoes is handmade, and I just love their designs. My feet used to ache after wearing heels for a long time, but eversince I got the TOMS wedges, I wear them the longest time ever, and I have no complaint of my feet aching. It's really worth the buy if you are one who love to wear heels. Do visit TOMS for more designs.
My next splurge is the Sophie, giraffe teether, for His Masterpiece. This is the 2nd time that His Masterpiece has lost his Sophie, and this pc is the 3rd Sophie that I have bought for him. This is the most expensive teether that I have ever bought, and I bought 3!!! just because His Masterpiece lost his twice!! I told myself this will be the last Sophie that he will have if he ever loses it again! So I have to tie Sophie down so that she will never get lost!!
Recently, my conscious pricked me, and I decided to spend on Rodney too. I think I am the most non-romantic wife ever because I have never bought Rodney any gift for his birthday, Father's Day, or anniversary day. Each year just passed by without any presents from me. Rodney doesn't complain, but I really feel bad that every year, he doesn't get any presents from me. I have always given myself the excuse that I am not working, thus I have no additional fund to buy him any gift, OR, he already has everything he needs and he doesn't need any more things. I wonder what other SAHM gives to their husbands on their special day since we are not bringing in any income to the household. Or, are they just like me, no presents for their husbands too? Maybe they just cook them a sumptuous meal, but I can never do that as I am not a good cook seriously. Rodney does give me monthly allowance but I never use the allowance to buy anything for him on his special days. Seriously, I feel very guilty as he always spends on me, but not me on him ;P
Anyhoo, I decided to splurge on Rodney as I have not been giving him anything all these years on his special days. Honestly, I really don't know what to get for him. I love Burberry tops, and thus I decided to get some for him for his coming Sept birthday, our anniversary day in Dec, and Father's Day next year June, and his birthday again in next Sept and so on. I guess it will be a one time gift for all events for the next few years ....haaa....Rodney is not a brand conscious man, and he doesn't believe that he needs to have branded items to show off his wealth, and seriously he will never buy any branded stuff for himself. But ironically, he would splurge on branded items on me instead. O.k. back to the Burberry tops, I do love Burberry but only their apparels, not their bags or accessories. I fell in love with their men's polo and jersey tops, and so I decided to get them for Rodney's coming birthday, anniversary, next year's Father's Day, and his birthday again next year ;P. I hope Rodney will like them as much as I do.
